Easter Bank Holiday Opening

Wadebridge and Camel Estuary Practice are proud to be part of the NHS during this challenging time. We are working closely with hospital, community and social care teams to provide care and support to all of our patients. As part of the NHS response to COVID-19, we will be open over the Easter Bank Holidays.

Friday 10th April and Monday 13th April Easter Bank Holiday hours are as follows:

Wadebridge Only – 8.30am – 6.00pm
Rock is closed.

Please remember not to visit any of our sites in person unless you have an appointment.

Training Closure

The practice is closed for training from 13:00-16:00 on the last Friday of the month. To contact a doctor please telephone 01208 812222.

Checking In

The practice at Wadebridge has an automatic check-in system. This enables patients to check in to their appointment, without queuing to speak to the receptionist.

It is situated opposite the reception desk.

Out of Hours Service

Wadebridge Surgery closes between 13:00 and 14:00.

To contact a doctor, please telephone 01208 812222. Your call will be diverted to a service providing cover for the emergencies.

Between the hours of 18:00-08:30 Monday to Friday and at weekends, there will be a doctor available for emergencies only.

NHS 111

If you require medical advice at any time you can call NHS 111 to talk to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours, unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. For example, chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Evening Service

Appointments are also available one evening a week between 18:30-20:30. These appointments are pre-bookable and available for those who work or have other commitments during the day.

It is not an emergency service. For emergencies, you will be referred to the out of hours service.

Please note, the dispensary is not open during evening surgeries and there is no chaperone available.
