Practice Team
Practice Management
The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice, such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology.
The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
- Mrs Nicky Brenton – Practice Manager
Nicky has been with the practice for 5 years, initially as assistant practice manager, recently taking on the role of practice manager. Nicky has almost 25 years experience working within general practice and has worked her way up from receptionist, seeing many changes along the way. In her spare time she enjoys running, going to the gym, baking (hence all the keep fit!) and spending time with her teenage son. - Mrs Caroline Trays – Assistant Practice Manager
Caroline has 20 years’ experience in general practice. She started in a dispensing practice as receptionist/dispenser, then moved on to a non dispensing practice as the reception office manager. With the merger of 3 practices in 2015 with a patient population of 32,000, she was promoted to a site operations manager. By joining Wadebridge and Camel Estuary Practice in 2019 she has gone full circle.
Administration and Reception
The doctors and management team are supported by a team of administrators and receptionists.
